Frutro is the first branded product from International Food Specialists — a line of tropical jelly snack cups created to bring joy and better choices to snack time.
Founded by Randy Trau, whose decades in the international food industry are matched by his passion for community, Frutro was born from a simple idea: snacks can be fun, delicious, and good for you.
Developed in partnership with Valle Metropolitano in Costa Rica, Frutro products are made with natural ingredients, including seaweed extract (a renewable resource) and real sugar, and contain no high-fructose corn syrup, artificial preservatives, or animal by-products.
The result is a snack that’s vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and made with just 5 grams of real sugar — proof that healthier options don’t have to sacrifice flavor. And this is only the beginning. New Frutro products are already in development, continuing our mission to create fun, healthy snacks for kids and kids at heart.
